This year, Tignes is hosting two stages of the French Freeride Series. The first in January 2024, reserved for the best adult and junior riders on the circuit. The second will take place in March during the third edition of the Moutain Shaker festival, with a 1* competition open to all and a Full Moon!
The Freeride World Tour Qualifier is the circuit reserved for adult competitors. It gives the best competitors access to the Freeride World Tour. Competitions are classified according to their level of difficulty: from 1*, the easiest and open to all, to 4****, the most technical and reserved for athletes who have already proved themselves in 1*, 2** and 3*** competitions.
In Tignes, the riders will be meeting in the Tufs massif, a geological curiosity overlooking Lac de Tignes that they will have to master if they hope to score points with the jury!
The first highlight of the Mountain Shaker festival, the French Freeride Series event takes place on 9 March 2024 !

The Full Moon is a freeride competition held at night under the light of the moon, as its name suggests. Open to riders invited for the occasion, it will be an opportunity to admire the technique and commitment of the skiers and snowboarders who will be taking to the slopes on the evening of 9 March 2024.
