informations about covid-19 in Tignes

The opening date of the ski lifts is not yet known and depends on the evolution of the health situation and government directives. In the meantime, we are happy to welcome you in Tignes!

Since last December 19, we have seen you, the Tignaddicts, showing your foolproof creativity to take advantage of the sliding sensations we love at all costs! In skins, in split, in snowshoes with the board on your back, the youngest pulled behind you with a harness ... We see you going up the 14 kms of groomed and secure slopes! We see you tasting your Beaufort and your sausage once you get to the top, just to gain strength before savoring the descent! We see you sledding, diving under the ice, testing the snowmobile ... And we are very proud to think that we are all part of this community of lovers of the great outdoors.

Secured landscaped areas, shared between cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking practitioners, will be accessible from Tignes le Lac, Val Claret, Tignes 1800 and Les Brévières. Details will be provided very soon concerning these itineraries and the conditions of practice, as well as the way our ski instructors and mountain guides will be allowed to guide you around.

The landscaped slopes are accessible to skiers, but also to snowshoe walkers or on foot. For your safety, keep to the right when going up or down, and follow the signs in place. The practice of sledding is reserved for dedicated areas and is prohibited on the slopes.

A cross-country ski loop is drawn around Lac de Tignes, between Val Claret and Tignes le Lac. It will allow beginners to discover this practice in a magnificent setting and the more experienced to work on their cardio with a series of climbs and descents at the foot of the Tufs at 2100m altitude! Purchase and rental in sports shops.
