An enchanting atmosphere for children... young and old!

It is always so fun and touching to observe children when December is getting closer... Hardworking while they write their letter to Father Christmas, guilty when they finish up their Advent calendar in just a few days (hours?)... and overexcited when you tell them they will spend their Christmas holiday surrounded by snowflakes this year!

Every December 24^th, enjoy an enchanted "après-ski" that will get stars to sparkle in the eyes of all Christmas spirit lovers: torchlight descents, Father Christmas parade, distribution of chocolates, show and fireworks!

TIGNES GETS INTO THE SPIRIT

Numerous Christmas decorations dress up the resort and the tourist offices throughout the month of December!

At the Maison de Tignes le Lac, come and admire the scene of the automatons staging the Christmas festivities. Pass in front of the tree richly decorated for the occasion and drop a letter in Father Christmas' letterbox!

Stroll through the different districts of Tignes and discover with wonder the luminous trees installed in the districts, and in particular the 6-metre high one near the #TIGNES lettering on the lakefront. A luminous deer located in front of the Maison de Tignes le Lac, or the various decorations installed everywhere will plunge you into a magical atmosphere.

You will be able to get in the mood and wait serenely (not without a certain impatience) for the evening of December 24th and the opening of the presents on the 25th in the morning!

Parades & festivities

The festive season is also an opportunity to bring you some magical family entertainment: family workshops, parades, shows, fireworks...

Tuesday 24th December

At the end of the day on 24 December, come and enjoy a magical moment after a day on the slopes. On the programme: parades and wandering magical characters and creatures, followed by the traditional torchlight descents, pyrotechnic shows and fireworks.

The programme

TIGNES VAL CLARET - CENTRE

17:30 : Departure of the celestial parade "Astro Diva" from the Val Claret Tourist Office. The parade, accompanied by Father Christmas, heads towards the Val Claret Centre snow front (at the bottom of the Tufs chairlift)
17: 30 : Start of the lantern-lit descent by the children of the ESF du Val Claret
18: 00 : Parade arrival on the snow front and start of the torchlit descent by the ESF du Val Claret instructors, followed by a fireworks display

After this first highlight, it's off to Tignes le Lac!

TIGNES LE LAC

17:45 : Lantern-lit descent by children from the ESF du Lac ski school
18:30 : Start of the torchlit descent by the ESF du Lac instructors. Hurdle of honour on arrival at the snow front with Father Christmas passing by
19:00 : ‘Astro Diva’ fireworks and light show (30 minutes), followed by a fireworks display

Wednesday 25th December

Celebrating Christmas together! After a magical Christmas Eve in Tignes 2100, come to Tignes 1800 and Tignes les Brévières to celebrate Christmas!

The Elixir company is opening the doors of its travelling sweet shop to offer you a farandole of delicious performances: stilt walkers, jugglers and dancers are at your service to delight your eyes and taste buds! A hymn to gourmet delights!

17:30 : Start of the gourmet parade on the Tignes 1800 snow front
18:00 : Start of the lantern-lit descent by children from the ESF of 1800 and Les Brévières

The festivities continue at Tignes les Brévières

TIGNES LES BRÉVIÈRES

18:15 : Gather on the Tignes les Brévières snow front for the arrival of the lantern-lit descent
18:30 : Sweet finale where the company of artists returns to their musical float bonbonnière to offer young and old a moment filled with acrobatics and magic, followed by a fireworks display
